2 cups of flour

2 tablespoons of baking powder

pinch of salt

1 1/4 cups of water.

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.

Mix the dry ingredients–this is where you can get fancy. Toss in some of your favourite herbs and spices. Maybe cumin, paprika, celery seed and raw garlic? Cinnamon, coriander, ginger and nutmeg? Berries and chocolate?

Add the water. If the dough is sticky add more flour.

Roll the dough into the approximate size of biscuit you want, place them on an oiled pan, then pop them in the pre-heated oven. Bake them until you can poke them with a fork and it comes out clean. Depending on the size you make your biscuits it will be 5 to 20 minutes.
